Viral: Samantha says she spent ‘ridiculous amount’ on her ex’s expensive gifts

Actor Samantha, in a rapid fire round with Varun Dhawan, said that she gave expensive gifts to her ex. The clipping from her latest interview is now going viral on social media. Fans quickly pointed out that she was taking a dig at her ex-partner Naga Chaitanya. They were married for nearly five years before they parted ways in 2021. Varun and Samantha recently starred in Citadel: Honey Bunny, which is streaming on Prime Video.
During the rapid fire round, Varun Dhawan asked, “What’s the most ridiculous amount of money you’ve spent on something completely useless?” Samantha, without any hesitation, said, “My ex’s expensive gifts.”
Varan Dhawan smiled and then asked, “Which is how much?” The Super Deluxe actor paused for a moment and broke into laughter and said, “Quite a bit.”

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu had been dating for a few years before they got married in 2017. Days before their fifth wedding anniversary, the couple announced their separation in 2021.
While Samantha has moved on, Naga Chaitanya is all set to marry Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4 in Chennai. The couple got engaged in a private ceremony on August 8 in the presence of their family members.
